clinicomm by Aegis IT Advisors

In development

Keep the whole practice in the conversation.

Team conversations, coverage questions and the handoff at the end of a shift. clinicomm is being built to bring everyday practice communication together, starting with the iPhone.

Help shape the first release

We are looking for practice staff to discuss their daily workflows. The app is in development and is not yet available for clinical use.

What is being built

Three things, done properly, before anything else.

A clinic does not need another inbox. It needs the day's coordination to be somewhere the whole team can see, that survives a shift change, and that nobody has to give out a personal phone number to join. These are three priorities for the first release.

01

Threads that belong to the practice

Planned direct and group conversations for practice staff, with individual accounts and membership managed by the practice.

Planned · design stage

02

Reach the person covering the role

Planned role-based addressing and on-call schedules help staff find the person covering a shift. Conversations keep the handoff in context.

The iPhone in the pocket, first

Designed for staff who spend their day moving. The iPhone is our first focus, with Android and desktop on the roadmap.

The path to your practice

From the first conversation to the first pilot.

We are starting with the people who coordinate the clinic day. Their workflows will help shape the first iPhone prototype.

A clinic pilot will follow product testing, independent assessment and the required operating agreements. Each step appears on the public roadmap.

Today

Shape the everyday workflows

The app foundation is in development. We are inviting practice staff to discuss coordination, coverage and handoffs.

Next

Then a prototype on a real handset

The next visible milestone is sign-in, a working message path, and the app running on a physical iPhone rather than in a simulator. That is a prototype for demonstration, and it will be described as one.

Later

A pilot, when the groundwork is done

Before any clinic uses this with real people, there is operational review, independent testing and paperwork to complete. Those are on the roadmap, ahead of the pilot rather than after it.

Gated, no date

Common questions

Before we talk.

Can I use this in my practice today?

No. clinicomm is in development. It is demonstration material and internal work, and it is not fit for a real clinic day. When it is ready for a small pilot we will say so here, and the first pilots will be arranged one practice at a time.

When will it be available?

We are not publishing a date. Several of the steps ahead of a pilot depend on review and testing that take as long as they take, and a date published now would be a guess presented as a commitment. The roadmap gives the order of the work instead.

Which devices will it run on?

iPhone first, from one codebase that is intended to serve Android, Windows and macOS afterwards. There is no browser client planned for version one. Nothing is on any app store today and there is no test build to join.

What will it cost?

Pricing has not been set. We will publish it before offering the product for sale.

Can you show me?

We can talk about what your practice actually does with its day, and we can show the state of the work honestly, which today means design and a prototype rather than a product. That conversation is product discovery — we are trying to learn whether we are building the right thing, and we will say plainly what does not exist yet.

Do you want to see our patient information?

No, and please do not send it. Not by email, not in an attachment, not as a screenshot, not as an example. Describe the workflow in general terms instead — and leave out details that could identify anyone. See the contact page before you write to us.

Talk to us

Tell us how your day actually runs.

The most useful thing anyone can give us right now is an accurate description of how a practice coordinates itself: who needs to know what, when the current method fails, and what has already been tried and abandoned. That is what shapes version one.
